Apparently people find this thing genuinely spooky.

Ain't that something.

that IS really freaky
also sick texture work

Taurmega responds:

Seems many are quite fond of the texture! Glad to hear it; I'm fond of it too.
And to think it's easier than it looks.

Looks awesome! This really reminds me of the Majoras Mask style of masks, more like when the mask becomes sentient at the end. The texture on the mask face is very well done, and the shading all over the character is great too. I also think the gradient on the horns and tail is very nice and fitting for the design. The eyes are the focus of the picture to me and they feel perfect for that spooky feel. Awesome work, keep it up!

Taurmega responds:

Thank you! Looking at it, yeah, I see what you mean. Makes sense too, since MM is such an eerie game in its own right.

Overall, yeah, very happy with the design and the mask's texture.

I appreciate the thorough review! Thank you very much.

Mask goes :D but in an evil way like >:D

I think it’s the uncanny smile that makes people uneasy. The texture on the mask must’ve taken a lot of work, nice job!

Taurmega responds:

Haha, less than most think! And yet I've managed to do quite a lot with relatively little. Goes to show how well this turned out.
Thanks much!
