Lost Factory Worker

Share

An impressive factory, hidden in the depths of an ice-cave, was once lost to ages of freezing and the buildup of snow. A worker, long withstanding decades of indefinite hibernation, awakens from her deep sleep. She must find a new purpose—That means leaving her home, her factory where she had spent her entire life in, for a new opportunity.

This piece is technically a study piece—I picked from a list of several clothes and accessories, hair, and a random color palette, dominant color, and color harmony. Using just these three big things, I created this character.

I wanted to try with another complex background to get some good practice in for a short comic perhaps?

Really nice work! ...and I wanna play that game too : )

Tetrachroma responds:

I'll look into it!

Looks really nice! Keep at it.

Tetrachroma responds:

Thank you!

I really love her design, first of all. All of the elements work wonderfully together.
Now, I support your idea of making this into a comic with all my heart and I implore you to continue on with this story. What I would be ecstatic to see would be this whole story being made into an adventure game, with this whole theme and genre and pensive music; I really implore you to do it! I promise it would be good use of your time.
I can just see a cut scene with her finding something and a new level starts and we learn more about her environment.

If someone were willing to collaborate with you on making this into a game, that would be awesome. I really want to get to know her and get to see - even interact with, if we're lucky - her story. The concept is wonderful and looks amazing! I really want to see more of you and more of her. This has more potential than you might think.

Fantastic job here, but it could be even fantastic-er if made into a comic or game.

Tetrachroma responds:

Wow! I was totally not expecting this! First of all, thank you so much for this amazing review, you definitely inspired me, and second of all, I have thought about an adventure game for a while now-
it's great to see that people are already interested in seeing a game about this!
