A squadron of fighters intercept New Hope Stealth heavy bombers above irradiated desert wasteland. Bombers are inbound to carpet bomb one of Snake-worshippers' rocket launch sites that are launching bacteriological attacks on large surviving refugee settlements, as part of "cleansing operation" to pave the way to spread the cult of slitering serpents. 2 fighters use guns just in case the missile-armed fighter in the team could not get a lock.

Jet Fighter is the new aircraft for the aerial branch of the Temple of Snakes. With the change in doctrine, this aircraft replaced the I-3 interceptor and B-14 attack bomber. While losing ground attack capability, the fighter can now carry a cluster bomb to attack a base.

Armed with dual machine guns, it is very deadly air threat. And can be even deadlier when replacing the guns with air-to-air missiles.

As usual, the fighter itself is weakly armored. But it can be upgraded with Jet Armor to improve it's survivability, able to withstand one more missile hit and few more AA rounds.

Fun fact:

Jet Fighter number 004 (missile-armed) refer to the forth episode of gen:LOCK, first enounter with the Union Holon, when Cammie got ambushed, then traumatized.
