I still can’t believe he’s gone. May he rest in peace.
I'm a bit late but I wanted to do a proper tribute to one of the biggest influences in my life.
Every since I was little, I always watched Dragon Ball, Z and GT with my uncles. I still remember seeing my first episode that Frieza showed off his final form. I even thought he was Mewtwo at the time.
But every since then, I been hooked on the series and was inspired by some of the themes of not giving up, and striving to become a better version of yourself. While most of the show dealt with martial arts within a fantasy setting, some of the lessons within the show struck home and can be applied to real life like collaboration is key, embracing your strengths and weaknesses, and learning from failure.
It was only then that I wanted to learn how to draw these different characters and eventually learn how to animate. It honestly felt unreal when I learned about Toriyama's passing but it also surprise me how many people was moved by his works, all over the world, countries paying tribute, and alot of fan art paying respect.
While he may be gone in this world, he's probably training those dinosaurs how to ride a ball in the afterlife.
Thank You Toriyama.
I still can’t believe he’s gone. May he rest in peace.

R.I.P.
may him live in peace
