This is a background I made for the program "CircleDock" (http://circledock.wikido t.com/). I used a lot of layer styles involving bevels and textures to give it a bit of a faux-3D feel.
To use, go to "General" in the settings and set "Key Presses/Mouse Wheel Scrolls Per Rotation" to 8 (if you have dock rotation enabled), then go to "Dock Shape" in the settings and set "Number of Icons Per Circle" to 8 and "Minimun Radius" to 235.
