Anita comes from a race called Ablintra Enthrykos with many abilities. Hers in particular has to do with assimilating genetic material. This allows her to shapeshift based off what she consumes. Look at it as some big data base where the blueprints to several species are stored. Or The Thing with intelligence and some semblance of humanity. The first drawing is being redrawn as shown in the second image since I thought I could do her anatomy better now.
