Took me 15 days, but I finally finished this.

Put a ton of focus on color / contrast balancing, along with composition. I wanted everything to flow vertically, with a sinking feeling toward the bottom. The darkness looms above, with the light down below. I really tried to push the lighting so that each half of the image was focused on each extreme.

I used a few elements to break up the composition by adding in a few diagonals to make things interesting with a secondary flow. Ended up being pretty tall, with a 1:4 aspect ratio. Had to extend it a few times to make sure the vertical spacing was properly spaced.

Pretty happy with the original Gundam design too. Went with a sea captain look, with a nautical compass in the torso armor.

Hoooo boy, this was a big one.
