This was a bit inspired by the way oil reflects light which I think is pretty neat, and that's how this thing was born! There's a bit of a background story I wrote, but that wont fit here unfortunately.
The way you played around with the colors oil can have makes it more unique. Good work here.
Nicely done, I like your choice of colors and the way you make them look like liquid as well as a solid creature.
