Alpha and Omega

Share

A freind of mine at school put me to the task of drawing his characters. These are only two. These guys are gods from my freind's story. The big black god is Omega (destroyer, and the one creating a human is Alpha(creator).

Funny, these guy are kind of like the hindu gods.

For a 1st drawing submission it's not bad. Considering this is OVER A DECADE OLD and seeing all this work put out over the years, you can see the contrast between your style back then and your style now. Also your skill improved alot. And let me say I really like your style now, it just hits a soft spot in me that I respond to very positively. Don't forget where you came from/where you started

you know it's funny because there were some other art here I posted closer to the ogirinal date I signed up that I deleted. i don't remember why, and even older shit's gone from deviantart unfortunately. it's weird like wow 10 years already cause later that year i dated him and went my own way from that friend goup when we split like almsot 9 years ago..

Dark

There is a certain darkness to this and I believe that was the intent the expression on the guys face is right on the black and white on this is pretty nifty but a touch of color wouldnt hurt even though the eyes had color maybe a bit more of the color idea.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Some color would be a nice touch.

holy shit this pic is 7 years old wow i forgot this exists.

Original?

When I first saw this, I thought it was a tribute to "Death Note". Granted, I haven't watched that or read the manga but I know much about it from the Internet. I now realize that this is about the endless cycle of life and birth as personified by these two characters. This is better than your first one because the shading seems a lot better. I guess it was made with digital effects instead of a marker. Omega appears to be holding something of a cross between a sword and a feather.

The person being created almost looks like some demon baby. I would love to see you put this creation and story into a cartoon. I also love how Omega's cloak appear to make use of the negative space to create shapes. Maybe that was not intentional, but still good. I like how Alpha takes on a far more normal human appearance.
