They're my vibe. African wild dogs are also known as painted dogs, and I think the name is very clever. Digital made to look more traditional, though I would have saved time just doing the damned thing in actual watercolors.
Really realistic-looking portrait here, and sad... seems like he's seen a lot. Lived a long life. Learned about the ways and what-not... the watercolor gives it a pretty cool texture too. Just the bits where the white shine through (on the fur) that seem a bit strange.
