Out At Sea

Boom! Sea monster.
Not really much to say about this one really, sea monster's attacking the town, and so whatshisface who doesn't have a name has to come in with this little cannon boat to blast it up a bit.

In retrospect I shoulda put the cannon at the front of the boat, cuz it looks like it's aimed right at the guys head instead of the monster.

Nice

Very Creative!
(I like, style of your picture)

gorgeous

I love your color scheme and the whole feel of the picture
one thing that bothers me though is the waves, when you zoom in you can see the top of the waves are not all perfect, you have extra loops at the tips and it detracts from the picture, but it's not noticeable the second you see it so it's just minor details.

I really love the shape of the monster and how fierce the tiny guy looks :D

ThePineapplePirate responds:

yeah i was too lazy to fix those, hate doing waves ha

glad you like it though, thanks

love it

I think the cannon being behind him adds an element of depth. when you consider that no sane person would aim a cannon at their own head...10/10 5/5 fav'd

Compliments!

You were able to create a strange atmosphere typical of those works of this black-colored style (let's call it like that).
In fact, I i think it's a bit difficult for a man lying in front of a giant monster, alone, to be cool and unmoved as a rock... and I like this. The only part I'd do a little bit different is the body of the monster, those scales / fins that come from the left side of the body (essentially the one that looks at the little man). That does not convince me, if I was in you I would rather put things like spears and harpoons embedded in the monster, so you could understand that that being has already faced more and more battles always managing to escape, thus increasing his fame as a fearsome sea monster.
5/5 - 9/10

ThePineapplePirate responds:

wow i didn't even think about that, great idea
