My first 3d/2d illustration mix!

I was learning blender over the past month and after a few tutorials, I decided to create a whole scene as a test if I can utilize it in my work and I think i'm really proud of this one being so good!

Of course I added on a few touches and Britt on top, to make it appear more 2d-ish and closer to my artstyle.

I'm really looking forward to be making more 3d art and even 3d models! (a model of my OC Barbara is already in the works)

I can't even describe how much I love this 2.5D approach to art!!! <3 I personally like to plan out the backgrounds for my art in 3D and paint over them.

Yeah I could see that approach being used a lot, especially in comics or animation where you'd have to keep track of a whole environment with multiple camera shots.

Really comes in handy and looks even more amazing when you blend it with 2d to make a whole new look!
