In 1997, The Curve would release Suburban Pslams, perhaps their most widely recognized album in their discography. They had already caught the attention of many music artists prior with their unique soundscape, blending together thoughtful and introspective writing with a psychedelic sound. The Curve opted to lessen the impact of the guitar for a more psychedelic experience overall, letting the writing shine through.
In the past, Jahn Lennoint of The Beebles said that he was excited for the band, and was no doubt influenced by them for his own 1997 album. But, upon hearing Suburban Psalms, he was less receptive than most, opting to work with The Curve on their next albums, for better or worse.
Suburban Psalms was released on September 29th, 1997.
