Oh yeah, I should prolly explain the lizards.
These "lizard people" are like npc's. They can't talk in any language and most likely won't interact with you unless you interact with them.
The "dream realm" they live in changes colour and temeperature along with the passing seasons... this page explains it better than I can. But the temperature is currently the best it ever has been, so don't worry about that.

Butcher's... let's see, according to the map of time and space I have in my mind, the butcher's is a decently annoying distance and like eleven units of time away. It is there, though!
