Ah what better way to celebrate Valentine's day... than to draw a love triangle?

Catherine. Oh my god. This game is so frickin crazy and I LOVE it. I love the puzzles, the bosses, but most of all I love the STORY.

So there's this guy named Vincent, right? He's pretty much a dude that feels like he has no control over his life, and that's especially so with his love life. He has a girlfriend named Katherine. With a K. Very stern but also ambitious and down-to-earth, she's great. BUT THEN Vincent gets into an affair with Catherine. With a C. Raunchy, but youthful and carefree, she's also cool. But yeah, Vincent gets tangled into this love triangle and boy does it become more and more of a DISASTER.

And I don't think Vincent's entirely to blame for it, despite him being an absolute mess. As great as these two girls are as characters, I can't say the same for their morals. Katherine tried to pressure Vincent into marriage, something he was clearly not ready for. She even went so far as to claim she's pregnant with his child at one point, making Vincent look for a sense of relief, which was found in Catherine. On the other hand, SHE was the one that instigated the affair by using her sex appeal to manipulate him. And the more you go into the game, the more it feels like she's deliberately trying to be a homewrecker of sorts.

Basically, these two girls pretty much have complete control over Vincent, and they keep pulling on his strings so much I get afraid Vincent will be literally ripped in half. But what makes me like this story so much is that it's Vincent's journey, and it's him reclaiming enough agency to rekindle his relationship with Katherine, start a fresh life with Catherine, or get out of dating entirely and live life on his own.
