Roxanne Model Sheet

Share

Another model sheet for my Reptile House characters, this one being on Roxanne Zapata, a Cuvier's dwarf caiman and the backup guitarist for Wyld Syde.

In terms of physical status Roxanne is the shortest member of the band (her species as a whole is small compared to other crocodilians and she would be considered petite by crocodilian standards.) as well as the youngest, being just a few months younger than Zephy. Her musical style and tastes lean towards heavy metal and industrial, a trait she picked up from her dad, who played it while fixing up cars. Because of this she has some basic mechanic skills. She's considering becoming a mechanic if the band doesn't work out. True to her metalhead persona she's rebellious, loud, aggressive and a bit of a troublemaker. Her and Zephy occasionally butt heads because of her attitude.

Her home life is considerably more troubled than that of her bandmates due to her father being in prison for buying and selling stolen auto parts. Her mother ended up divorcing him almost immediately upon his conviction. Even before then their marriage was coming apart due to money problems; her father was a decent mechanic but a lousy businessman. Her mother, already somewhat strict had become more so after the divorce for fear that Roxanne would take after her father. She only reluctantly allows Roxanne to see him during visitation hours and worries he's a bad influence on her. Despite everything she's still close to her father. Her guitar was actually something he made for her from scratch during his free time as a gift. Her relationship with her mother, on the other hand, has become strained after her fathers' imprisonment. Partially because of Roxanne being a rebellious teenager. But mainly because of her strict demeanor and antagonism about her father, blaming him for her rebellious attitude. It's largely due to her friends influence that she hasn't become a full-blown delinquent.
