This whole process has been a little like trying to chat up a girl at the bar, if you haven't done it before you spend ages trying to think of witty openers, battling yourself over which is the least stupid idea that won't end up with you being immediately shot down and humiliated. If you spend too long thinking about it, you miss your chance and spend the rest of the night fiddling with a straw. Of course, if you have done this before, it's probably a lot easier to be relaxed so you can focus less on the possibility of abject failure.

It seems odd trying to explain the thought processes that went into coming up with this, but still, there has been a ridiculous amount of thought going into the making of our first strip. Luckily, we haven't made the mistake of completely changing the joke although the choice of costume has gone through plenty of changes.
