Owl of the Wood

A project I first started to test the new feature of zbrush with the release of Zbrush ZR2 and I take it further because I really loved with I came up with when I sketched in dyamesh (one of the new features).

Sculpted, textured (Poly-painted) and rendered in zbrush. Some slight adjustments in photoshop.

image used for background is @ Wyldraven on DA , http://wyldraven.devianta rt.com/art/Forest-Haven-S TOCK-129869325 .

I am making a presentation about La Lechuza for my Spanish class, and I'm planning on using this image in the background of one of the slides. I have a separate slide where I will link your account and this page. I was just letting you know and seeing if it was okay. ( also you did a great job on this )

I might get this tatooed. Wicked, props.

This is really nice Toshema, your zbrush skills are so awesome. This model almost looks like a painting.

Astounding

You have some skills, seriously cool owl. I feel like im prey, yet i respect its nature. I really like this. The Rocks on the background could be a bit sharper. Cant find anything else remotely critical to say. First thing on my mind was an artist logo/name with a matching theme just below the owl ;).. It would send a chillin vibe to the listeners :D Great art!
