In this world, people have to FIGHT for their freedom of content. The computers pull you in, quite literally. Their arms grab yours, and force you to click. Only those with the greatest sheer force of will are capable of resisting. Otherwise, you are doomed to click on whatever is most popular that week, becoming a mindless zombie conforming to whatever the computer AI want you to. In terms of size, things have started to go downhill, but it is worth it in order to allow no freedom of content choices, and to make sure all screen time goes to those content creators who can pay the most.
