Well, well, well... You can't perform a mission without backup. Shadow is killing humans. Rouge is hacking Eggman's system. She's not in the facility itself, so she's completely safe and there are no alarms where she is.
What was it I was going to...
Oh yes. I've noticed that some Sonic games have lots of humans, others have almost no humans and only the base characters. My lore for this world is that approximately 200 years ago, Humans evacuated a ruined Earth and the remains of Humanity - a mere half-a-billion people - came as refugees to Mobius. Upon discovering that they have a closely linked DNA, they were accepted onto Mobius. There are cities populated almost entirely by humans, but MOST of Mobius is populated by Mobians.
Today, there are no Humans on Mobius who were born on Earth and they don't think much about going back because Earth itself, far across the stars, has only a few million surviving Humans living Wastelands 2/3 style. It doesn't REALLY matter to the story, but that's my head-canon here.
