A little something I threw together with Pov-Ray. (edit: expanded info :) : I used no cheats, either - in all my 3d work, I strive to create models that could actually be "printed out" and "workable". Light bulbs where the glass has thickness & internal texture, for instance, instead of just a flat, texturized form, and where the filaments run all the way through as they would in the real thing. I love detailwork like that - and ultimately, I think it pays off. This is one of my earliest attempts at such full, "all-the-way-through" type of modelling. With nothing more than Moray & Pov-Ray, to boot - such tedious detail work would drive most folks bonkers. ;-)

Nice

Looks very detailed. Would've liked a bit of lighting to see the edges on the top a lil clearer.Great job.

Thank you. :-) It's one of my earliest attempts. I hope to post more here as I find them - I'd left them kind of "slip away" for awhile. But I'm starting to get more active again, time to dig them out & continue progressing. :-)
