I have wanted to make a drawing with the basic idea of lines intersecting and all of them ending for a while now. I actually made the first version of this picture when I was about six years old. This time around, I spent more time with the details.
There is a lot of symbolism involved in this picture. The lines are the lives of soldiers in a war. The time at which their paths cross is unknown. Do they even know that their lives intersect one another? Regardless, every man in this war dies at some point, as it is in real life. As many lives that are touched are lost.
