"TRANSFORM"

Codename: Zoe

When unorthodox methods of testing a new military cloaking device failed- this kaiju rose to fame. The experiment was to create an efficient assassin and infiltrator that could be mass produced and utilized for war. Chameleons were used as live test subjects, but something went very wrong indeed. Zoe's cell structure is highly unique and can refract light, almost like mirrors, rendering her completely invisible when she undergoes this surface transformation. She can also use this ability to reflect light and cause a blinding effect in battle. Her frill comes in handy with this too, acting as a reflective panel to stun her opponents. If she is not reflecting light or turning invisible, she can display her frill to surprise anything that is trying to subdue her- the brightly colored patches on her frill resemble eyes, which can certainly catch an enemy off guard. Zoe can also change her skin color to camouflage in with her surroundings, but it is not dependent on her mood. Her tongue is another handy weapon and has a 'stinger' on the end- as it can be used as a whip or impaling weapon and can inject a paralytic agent. This paralytic agent can only take effect if it enters the bloodstream of an enemy, although it's thought her saliva may contain some traces of the same paralyzing chemical. It isn't strong enough to kill another kaiju, but it can stiffen their muscles for a few minutes and severely compromise mobility. Zoe is one of the fastest Kaiju out there, so a few minutes is all she would need to finish an enemy off.

Months later Edit:// It's come to my attention that Zedus from Gamera exists. I had never heard of this kaiju before and he served absolutely no inspiration for my own original kaiju. I've never even seen a Gamera movie before. My kaiju's inspirations are VERY clear and are not subtle: Chameleons and Jurassic Park Dilophosaurus. The name Zoe comes from Spyro- where the little fairy zaps a bright light on you when you save. I swear to god it's my life's calling to be a concept designer for monster movies but I can't ever seem to get the break I deserve >:(
