I had fun redesigning Orks from warhammer 40k so they’re algae tardigrade aliens instead of green muscle guys.
Most things about them are the same green gitz we love, but now they photosynthesize and can survive any condition in a tun state - extra unkillable bastards.
these new orks still appreciate and wear the hair squig

Definitely helps sell the idea of them being fungi a bit better!
