The Canine Vessel is a creature that is born from the fusion of a human, dog, and Valley Flesh biomass. Both the human and the dog have a conflicted and chaotic disposition due to the physiological and psychological effects of their mutations. They can be very vicious when confronted by a threat, however, they will often hesitate to initiate an attack.

Trivia:

*The internal conflict seen in the Canine Vessel comes from the human and dog’s competing intellects. The human hesitates out of sensory overload because he is smelling, tasting, and hearing various things he has never perceived before. The dog hesitates because he is experiencing a human’s higher emotional intelligence causing it to feel complicated feelings like guilt, responsibility, and empathy.

*The dog can be released from the human’s torso on his command and charge the target. The dog is connected to the human with an umbilical cord when detached from the human body.

*The humans are often dog trainers and pet handlers who got absorbed in the Valley Flesh while trying to rescue their dog.

*If the human is killed first during a fight the dog will chase and attempt to kill the attacker relentlessly until it bleeds to death.

*If the dog dies first the human will pick it up and cry over its carcass until he bleeds to death.
