The Diner Duo

"Now I might not be the bear with the most know-how, but I know a good thing when I see one."
"Oh yeah? Like what Fredbear?"
"Why, it can only be you Springs!"
"You flatterer! The only thing sweet I can see is your attempts at sweet talkin'!"

The Diner Duo are a pair in the FNAF series that occupy a strange spot within the fandom. They are most certainly lore relevant and everyone knows about them at this point, but are only really spoken about in their later incarnations when possessed. I wanted to draw them more as they were in the diner rather then stuck as hosts in a supernatural war.

Sadly both of these guys have some lackluster renders compared to most other animatronics. Fredbear has more of them sure, but they tend to fall under either Golden Freddy (who appears to have some early installment weirdness by not being apparent as a springlock suit) or the one jumpscare in UCN. Spring Bonnie's only canon render is from the Ultimate Guide, and that thing is tilted upwards so the face isn't as easy to parse.

In the end, I drew from a lot of sources to assemble the designs for these two. Shared between them is their hand designs from Classic Springtrap and the solid seam between the top and bottoms of their heads as shown in the FNAF4 section featuring William, a trait I feel makes their unique contraptions stand out and makes them immediately noticeable. Fredbear took most of his individual looks from the UCN jumpscare and a choice of colors from FNAF World. Spring Bonnie's official render is... bad. So I went with 95% from FNAF World and a bit of Scraptrap influence for the muzzle and the buck teeth.

Hope you enjoy and don't mind my rambling!
