The Loot Gremlin is the name for a type of Dungeon Crawler that picks up items, chests, and other stuff from around dungeons and scatters them about, though sometimes they might keep them to take to their hovel to stuff in some corner to be forgotten. They are almost never aggressive, only ever fighting if backed into a corner or is having their home invaded. Of note: they have been documented stealing items directly from the hands and bags of adventurers they encounter, and though this is rare and easily able to be "solved" (couldn't think of a better word ,_,), it's still recommended that those who end up in dungeons keep a good grip on any items on hand and keep bags/pockets fastened and secure.

A common predator of the Loot Gremlin are Mimics, most often Container Mimics, due to the fact that they often disguise themselves as chests, which is known to be a common target of thefts (as depicted), leading to the (hopefully obvious) unfortunate fate for the little critter.

Loot Gremlins are known to burrow random holes and tunnels in the walls of dungeons, and apart from making homes, it is yet unknown why they do this. A popular theory is that they makes these to facilitate traversal around the dungeon and to have a good escape route in the event a potential threat my come around, though there are other plausible theories that also have weight.

In short, these little critters are know for stealing, thieving, and general nuisance around the dungeons.

I like this little fella, it's so small and limbby and look at it! If it weren't so human shaped, wouldn't you keep it as a pet? I know I would! :P
