I drew this about three years ago, and it's one of my earlier inked works. I also used a yellow sharpy on the tall sword-bearing ant, but it didn't show up very well on scanner. It's all for a book, which probably won't be written.

I believe that the smallest of the three characters was named Pek Pek, one of the pygmy sugar ants that live in sidewalks. Enjoyable character, I do believe.

TRIVIA: The medium sized ant had a number for a name. Think along the lines of the movie "9", and that's the naming convention that was at work here. Don't ask me why, since the movie "9" hadn't even been glimpsed yet. I thought it was quite original.
