Trying to get that oil painting feeling
Very believable, I love your choice of colors.
The loose appearance of this piece sells it , at least in my opinion, I try to paint loose and simple shapes, but I usually get wrapped up in detail and "realism" and then that kills the piece and I've wasted 3 hours. Seeing your "simplistic" loose pieces like this one, are great help on trying to keep it loose and simple!
