Various doodles and videogame concepts featuring Tab, done on paper. (As one can tell, this is so far in my early drawing phase that most of these would be done on lined paper.)
Original art titles, art date publications; and art descriptions:
Tab Enemy Concept (1) / October 15th, 2013
A bunch of hypothetical "videogame" enemies I drew for Tab (that guy in the cape) quite some time ago. The oddity of all of their designs and the strange level setting is intentional.
Tab in the Desert (2) / August 8th, 2014
One of the later drawings I did on lined paper when I was making the jump to printer paper. As a result, I never really bothered to pour much detail to this one. Not much going on here, except Tab (back when he still had a cape and was called "Capeman") is in a desert setting (with a canyon in the background). Clouds, lightning, sand, sword also there. I would like to have another go at a desert picture though. [EDITOR'S NOTE: This was later given a modified, colored version titled Desert Lonesome.]
Tab on the Highway (3) / August 8th, 2014
One of the later drawings I did on lined paper when I was making the jump to printer paper. As a result, I never really bothered to pour much detail to this one. This one is an attempt at what a platforming level would be like if it took place on a highway-more specifically, on top of cars (acting as platforms) traveling on it. This is just a basic idea of what it would look like.
Also Tab has a sailor hat. Hm.
Tab in Meadow Overworld (4) / August 8th, 2014
This is one I've actually been on and off with for a looong time. It's basically my idea on how a hubworld would look like on the third-person / 3D platformer perspective. The trees and that rabbit over there are NPCs that the player (as Tab) can talk to, and in the background you can see a pillar/bridge over the river and a giant gate with a portal that is supposed to be an entry to another level (a nod of sorts to the first Spyro game...I've been playing it a bit recently).
