ooh this is lovely~
i kind of like the fact that the contrast between the main subject and the background isn't so strong and defined-- it gives it a nice dream-like feel in my opinion. i also enjoy the fact that your eyes immediately go to her face and spreads out with her hair before exploring the rest of the image. great work~

From the darkest depths she rises... definitely not like the mermaid from the movies! Beautiful in her own way, even if the color and murky abyss makes her seem not as kind as her brighter mainstream adaptation. Awesome work though. Great detail.

Love it ! This is beautiful !

I thought that red hair looked familiar! :D
Okay, so first off, the rendering is beautiful. I love the attention to the scales! Plus, those red chord hanging off her? Really gives off a nice, flowy effect. I would have loved for more contrast in the entire image, so I could see her better, and her neck does seem a bit oddly bent.
That said, the way her hair blends into the water is a really nice touch. Good job :D

Zakuga responds:

might be her hair, the line work looked okay for the neck, but then again I wasn't paying much attention to anatomy this time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vpB74j9hmY (linework is seen here) thanks for the feedback tho

Oh... interesting
