Makes me think too. The drawing looks good. Even with acne in it, which is not beautiful. But this drawing is an evidence that beauty is not the absence of flaws. and it is clearly not similaeity to the ideal. Disturbing is the false dilemma of disgusting and beautiful. Why is there no choice of looking OK?

Acne: I could spend hours obsessing, or spend hours feeling good, not worrying. Which one?

good point! A middle ground between 2 extremes must be acknowledged.
I believe we must live our lives to the fullest, not that we should feel good about it because then we would have no sense of pride, but if we do not worry , I believe, everything will turn out alright. We can live in joy, the world has polluted the very definition of beauty, so we strive, every day, do the best we can to not worry about the thoughts of others because only the truest of friends will see the real you, anyone else is not worth our while. So do not worry, because you are beautiful!
