Alexis Pose

Share

Here is a small poster of Alexis (character for story). Special credit goes to ankooru on DA for the reference by a lovely model.

This was a very fun time to practice and learn a bit more about lighting and tones. The resolution is pretty low right now, but I may do a rework for a higher res poster print. Unfortunately I don't feel to comfortable right now giving out story or character details, but those who are interested may ask and I may feed some material.

Created using Photoshop CS4 and Wacom Tablet Intuos 3.

This is brilliant! This kind of stialized realism is very appealing. Even without a backdrop it sets a mood. I know you said you weren't comfortable revealing any of the story but the one thing holding this back is a lack of scenery. Even a pattern that fits the mood or leans toward the mood intended would really make this pop.

Goddamn awesome. I love the tat.

zigan responds:

Thank you! :) It's an old symbol I created last year that's relative to part of the story.

The lighting is really good, like Mrlol said it almost looks like a photo at a glance, but her head and hand look pretty disproportionately large. It might just be the head, actually I think it's size is making the hand look funny by relative size.

I swear at first I thought this was a photo Great job man :)
