This was for a contest on Advanced Anime, and a deadline I almost missed. o_O;
Other Thoughts:
It isn't cleaned up all the way but I like messy-ness here and there sometimes depending on the picture. Although I don't smoke butteflies, I wanted to give this self portrait a not-so-bland taste and add a bit of fantasy in it. I could of added more but it might have been overdoing it.

The pic makes you look a little effiminate, but I suppose that's because of the anime-esque style that it's drawn in. Also the pipe looks kinda funky imo.
But despite those criticisims I really do like it. it looks very good. the messyness really adds to the pic especially with the little bit of chin scruff

Love how actually made his eyes asymmetrical. That really adds life to the character. Your outlines are powerful and the gradations are super crispy. Also, the most difficult thing to draw in the world are hands and the hand of the suave guy is drawn flawlessly.

Thank you. I have a problem with hands as well, it took me a few times to get the perspective of the hand right, it's something you have to be real careful with. >_<
