Still Standing to Protect her Daughter

We were caught in a terrible battle. I was having a hard time holding on, but when I saw Stesy fighting while protecting her daughter, I thought that they must have been really brave to hold on. But at one point, I got really scared. I saw several archers get in front of Elena to kill her. The archers bandaged their bows and Stesy saw them at the last moment. The archers released their arrows and Stesy knelt against her daughter to protect her as much as possible. The arrows hit Stesy hard in the back, but she didn't move. After a few seconds, Stesy stood up with her daughter in her arms. Elena was in tears and Stesy whispered sweet nothings in her ear to reassure her. Her back was pierced by several arrows and yet Stesy stood on her own two legs. Putting herself in danger to protect her daughter was an act of pure, unconditional maternal love. Stesy is perhaps more than a mother, she is a guardian angel.
