The Erlking

Guy Hayley's Wolfsbane novel did a lot for making the lore of the Space Wolves a lot more intriguing for me and quickly captured the imagination of what can be done with the 40k universe.

As a result, a major character that I introduced into my Space Wolf themed Wrath & Glory game is the dark, somewhat daemonic entity hiding in the heart of the world of Fenris.

For this image, I decided to play around with a different inking technique, which happened to make the coloring process a little faster since I could work more with watercolor, rather than rigidly defined pools of light and dark. The result was something very akin to Darkest Dungeon's aesthetic.
