Tin3Sn Tesserakoste Talks Part 10:
We may be five years past the lockdowns but this is still a beautifully lonely piece you've written. Yet another one I think somehow slipped my mind the first time I heard it over a year ago. Among the piano compositions, this one stands out a lot for its feels. It's not exactly empty like Prelude to Contemplation but not the animated rich dreams a lot of the others in this project here. It just kind of is its own thing.
There is something both classical and cinematic about this one that appeals a lot to me. While less so than other ones, this is an example of a composition that has a Western classical feel that I actually still appreciate somewhat, although I do think this goes well beyond that framework. The chord sequence at 0:33 is somewhat classical, but the chord at 0:50 definitely is not. It's far more what I would expect from an anime OST than a Beethoven sonata.
Then theme representation. Overall, good job on the loneliness front, maybe not as much as your most recent piece about this. By the way, it never fails to amaze me that it's been five years since COVID began. Can you believe I still remember everyone going crazy about that virus, and even a time before that? In a way, this piece gives me a sort of nostalgia for those times, but that's a bit of a different story.
You paint a very colorful and beautiful, if somewhat still and sensitive, image in this composition. And perhaps that's what those times were.
