Really love the choice of instruments here! I can tell you're really talented, keep going dude!
Hello Newgrounds. I'm happy to say that I've been writing, composing, and producing since 2014, which at this point will have been 7 years ago. With the fact that I now have over 200 fans! I decided to celebrate the milestone by taking what was probably my best work at that point and breath some new life into with skills I've developed and sounds I've acquired over my producing career. The original work in question is Time to Fly that I made for the 2014 NGADM
There's always room from improvement so I still appreciate feedback, but I would say this is an accurate representation of my abilities at this point and I hope you enjoy this as much as I do

Pros:
Good melody, Consistent song volume.
Cons:
The transitions aren't smooth, The drop is too weak.
Overall score: 3.5/5
Damn bro, you’ve outdone yourself… literally lol. Great great GREAT job. Congrats on the 200+ fans, you totally deserve way more than that. Keep doing your thing! :)
This is really dope! One thing I would do to make it even better is if you used some sidechain. Maybe there already is some, but if that's the case then it's very subtle. But yeah, this is just a personal opinion.
Overall this is very uplifting and awesome, keep it up!
edit: yeah the instruments don't clash with the kick or anything so it's definitely not a bad thing that the sidechain is subtle, but it would give it some more groove you know? which btw, is a personal opinion. I like when there's a lot of sidechain xd
Yeah it's subtle. It doesn't need a lot since the kick is short, but I could play around a little more and see how it fits. Glad you liked it!
Wow, this is actually amazing. You can hear the progress you've made over these last 7 years. The mix is so clean and everything really has it's place compared to the original, great job!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
