This started with a simple question: "Is Warhammer 40k more metal than Doom?"
And you know what? I love Doom but 40k makes it look like Animal Crossing. Which got me wondering... Where are all the 40k deathmetal tracks? Well, here's one.
All notation decisions were made with the Blood God Khorne's sacred number 8 in mind. Which... Turns out 8 semitones 4x is a pretty fucking metal chord. And, because it's got Warhammer in mind you've gotta have the choir screaming. Also... What is the genre for this kind of track? Mickstep? Gordoncore? Doomgrind? I really don't even know.
UPDATE: I fixed some of the more glaring mixing issues and made it generally more horrifying.
You really captured in musical form how terrifying a chaos space marine can be... If it was up to me, more daemonic chants should be in there.

That's a fantastic, head-bangin' hybrid sound you've created. Stutters, automation, sound design, brutal rhythms and blast beats, it has it all. And yup, eight semitones interval is a minor 6th; stack four of those, and you got yourself an open-voiced fully diminished 7th chord.

Other than that, it has a bit too much synth for my taste but it's not bad.
