Hello, person. I have a number of very old things, but none hold a candle to the marvelous trilobite in my collection. I'm overcome with awe as I hold it in my hand, knowing that it was once alive in the unimaginably distant past. It had eyes, a heart, and a brain to perceive its world. Hey, I have those things, too. The Earth back then would've seemed very alien to us. Maybe in another 200-600 million years or so some weirdo creature will hold a fossil of me and feel the same way.
