In emotional terms, the first part sounds as if it were someone rude or with intentions to anger, the second part gives me the feeling something more compassionate and a strange touch of truth, and the last part sounds a bit more mocking
Because of English I don't know what the phrase says
But hey it worked, natural and a little hint of exaggeration at last.
