you are in the SAUCE WOW THAT PLAYING AND FINGER TONE. real deal oh my god <3 <3

i rather like how warm and soft the drums are like Tainted said

i am glad you are here. like at Newgrounds yes but also like in existence and life

KrinnValKhristi responds:

From you... this is a mind blowing compliment.

I did want the drums to be softer and more unpronounced in the piece so that I could allow the guitars to be more present. I don't have much, but I do have the pain in my hands.

Because...let's be honest, a drum machine can do much, but it can't replace a live musician.

I have heard your work on the veiled purples album and I know that you did use Addictive Drums on it and saw how masterful you were with creating the midi grids.

I mean... just the painstakingly egregious task of going through each 32nd note and adjusting the camber, velocity, and tone had to have been so hard.

I know that since, you have graduated to using a real drum set, and might I say, you are just as talented on the drum set as you are in the midi grid lol.

It is like.... it is all just.... fluid to you... whatever medium you decide to use you channel your omnipresent gift into it and make something amazing.

Truly, you are a gift to the world of music.

Amazing young man, simply amazing.

I like the relaxed tone at the beginning. Sometimes the harmonies trip over each other a bit, like at :25, but the guitar solo there is full of variety and flair. I like it when the texture starts to fill out a bit more at 1:18, but up until that point there wasn’t a strong sense of overarching progression here. The modulation at 1:53 helps fulfill that goal, and in fact that section really feels like the climax of the piece. Sometimes, it’s a bit difficult to follow the contour of the melodies here, which is why I appreciated that the outro grounds the listener in a more repetitive riff at 2:46. I also thought the fade-out at the end could’ve been a bit more creative. Overall, I really like the melodies, mood, progression, and sound design of this one. I honestly think the more soft/“mellow” drums fit the character of this piece pretty well, but I can also attest to the broader benefits of compressing percussion. Keep at it, Krinn! Thanks for coming out to the NGUAC this year; it’s been a blast. ^_^

Congratulations to the winner of the competition!

I hope to take your feedback and apply it so that my songs will be even better next time!

From Krin's brain I say buh bye for meows!!!

what a play.

KrinnValKhristi responds:

Thank you for checking it out! ^_^

So after listening to the 10 most recent tracks on your profile I can see a pattern. You write really emotional music, very heartfelt and you're an excellent guitarist.
I think the biggest thing holding you back is how you're mixing your drums. I recommend learning about parallel compression for drums to give them more power. They don't fit your mixes at all, in any song. If you can fix that you'll level up your music for sure. Let me know if you have questions.

KrinnValKhristi responds:

Thank you for your honest and helpful feedback sir. ^_^

Love that riffing at the very end the most. Really slick stuff. Sounds so pretty.

KrinnValKhristi responds:

That riffing is the main theme of the next song I am going to write lol.

THANKS for checking this out!
