Song Preview #2: In My Heart
This song was more spontaneous than some of the other projects I have at the moment. I was able to sketch out the entire song in about a day, although it requires variation in the second half. I like the overall tone of it, but I don't know if there's too much empty space to fill. Please let me know what you think in the comments below!

Solid work man! The build up is lovely as always, the drop is solid too, mix is good and there is a lot of breathing space which gives it a nice vibe but I feel like there could be more rhythm to the wobbles themselves to carry the flow of it. Do you mind if I take the stems for this sometime and have a play around?
ye tbh your stuff needs more more bass so that it doesnt feel empty. and your drum sections need some variety and polishing because they sound pretty artificial (you probably know about that dont you :D). so keep learning and happy new year!

Hey! Thanks for the constructive criticism. It took me a little while to understand (and be OK with) what you were talking about. I have some ideas to round out the drums, namely with some variation in the kick. As far as bass goes, I kind of like the way it starts more open, but I think it definitely needs to close with more rhythm. Perhaps I could bump the BPM up to 150 for more energy. I’ll experiment with it.
