This was an assignment for Orchestra class. It's a Serial composition (we were studying Stravinsky).
If you don't know, Serial music works like this: there's an original row (line of notes), which are then varied, whether played backward or starting at a different note than originally. Anyway. It's not easy to do.
This composition's row is G D A Bb C B Ab F E Eb. It's not a terribly difficult piece (I can play it). It was just a study on serialism, that's all. And I hope you can enjoy it.
Also, a partita can refer to a solo piece or a piece for solo instrument in movements. This is one of the former.

Hm I'm trying to figure out how I skipped this review lol. Anyway...
Yeah, it was just a simple class assignment that needed to be a certain amount of measures, so I was limited (instrument-wise too). So yeah. Maybe I will create a longer serial piece in the future! (String quartet...?!)

It's possible. Stravinsky did Firebird, and he also championed Serial music.
So yeah it's probably there's some similarity. (Not to mention I had been listening to Firebird a lot during the time I wrote this).
