Pixelday2022 is here! Listen to some fast and agile squirrels, running around, chasing each other. This is my interpretation of it. In Chiptune of course!
I love Pixelday, so I coulndn't skip this opportunity to create a new Chipture song. This song is fast and speedy. I started with the bass which I basically left untouched 'til the end. The fast staccato melody was the initial primary melody but then I overlapped a slower solid square wave melody which I then extended with a duett, experimented with manual chorus and panning and it sounded fantastic. Later on I added the idea of a softer middle section and went full force till the end.
Took a long time to make (20h project time) and in the end I couldn't hear the novelty anymore. Wanted to add some vibrato but then decided the song is good as it is.
Made in FL Studio with Sytrus.
