'Following on from the recently released single, ‘Broken Crown’, ‘Passing, Fade Away’ takes a leap forward from Desenser’s punky, high-octane aggression, and converts that energy into a progressive, passionate journey of a track. The single still preserves Desenser’s hardcore roots in its heavy breakdowns and catchy riffs, but takes a whole new turn with the inclusion of ethereal clean sections and floating choruses. Desenser have gigged relentlessly this year, sharing a stage with the Hell, local legends Dead Harts, and have secured a spot at Bloodstock festival this year, playing the New Blood stage on Sunday 14th. The single will release with a filmic music video, which will reflect the narrative of the track, along with special performance footage.

Lyrically, ‘Passing, Fade Away’ takes a step away from the politically-charged themes of ‘Broken Crown’, turning inwardly and exploring the attitudes towards death, with the song following the story of a character who is going through the process of dying. This journey begins with the protagonist contemplating mortality, then facing terminal illness in a hospital, experiencing hallucinations and spiritual experiences, and ends with the character’s death in a climactic finale.'
