i feel like i'm slowly starting to get the hang of mixing (and mastering?) over time
the original idea was just the starting piano ostinato; it'd been sitting in my project files for god knows how long. i decided to work on this one after randomly picking one of my projects and vowing to finish it.
this was my first venture into heavy autotune/distortion, but i dont think it turned out too badly. i was really happy to hear the autotune producing some neat (and totally unintentional) embellishments to the simple melody, which was literally the first thing that came to mind when i decided to do vocals. the lyrics just spilled out of me in a similar fashion, the titular "losing myself" actually just being improvised on the spot while recording.
there is not much too much to say about this track.
