you carry so many memories in here.
New song, omg, already, it took so long, it didn't aaa. So this weekend I wanted to visit some friends, but than we discovered one of our classmates tested positive for corona, and than we all did tests, and I was the only one who also tested positive. So I was quarantined for at least a week, which ended in me having more time to spend on music compared to how much time I normally have. I made use of that and started working on a new song that monday, and I kept working on it for a few days. The song started out with the first dubstep drop with just the bass, than I expended upon that with some very detuned supersaw arpeggiator, and some voicelines I recorded and edited. I really liked where the song was heading but didn't have any chords or melodies yet, so I took a simple sample and started improvising until I played something that was really similair to what is used in the song at the start. And sorry about the second half of the second drop, I just couldn't think of anything else. And at the end I first used a vague voice sample of me, but eventually replaced by some singing I did. I hope you like it, because I really do like this song. I think This song also has one of the most time spend I ever spend on a single song before.
BTW after this I'm planning on doing more singing in my songs since I'd just love to, but don't worry, I'll also try to do dubstep and chiptune stuff's inbetween as well or combine them.
and EDIT: found a problem in the sidechaining after the first drop, fixed it now oopsies :P.
also a bit late, but thanks so much for the frontpage, I'm really proud of this song, so I'm happy it'll reach a broad audience :D
