140 bpm, c maj
Heavily inspired by Atlas by Faux Tales. This track ended up too similar for my liking, though I still enjoy it.
This is the third episode of The Journey.
As always, thanks for listening and make sure to check out the rest of my music here on Newgrounds and on YouTube at ItsPixl
Story:
0:00 - The city is dead. A few survivors peek out from derelict structures. Rubble falls in the distance.
0:27 - People look to you as you journey to the city's heart. You feel awe and respect. These people hate this world as much as you do.
0:42 - Over time you gain the trust of the citizens, and shape them into an army. This world will fall.
0:55 - The war begins. Hope and color follow your legion into the desolation.
1:22 - Years pass, and your determination never wavers. Glory is near. You fight on through the desolation.
1:51 - You reach the spot at which you entered this world. You remember the fight, and the burst of power that saved your life. You remember that there is a reason you are fighting. A reason other than hatred for this world.
2:18 - You feel empty. The years of driving desolation out of this world feel pointless. Your determination weakens.
2:46 - You push on into the empty landscape. The war feels empty now, as if it were all for naught.
3:15 - After years, the remaining desolation is finally driven out. But you still feel lost. There is no peace of mind.
3:56 - This world will never settle. It will never be defeated. This is not your home. You look for a way out...
