On a rare Halloween night, the moon gleans red and the specters that once roamed the earth freely now take flight in utter terror.

This is my track for the PxTunes compilation album GHOSTS vs. VAMPIRES, this time centred around Halloween. The theme specifically this year was Ghosts vs. Vampires in which the challenge was to compose an original track in PxTone (of course) about either vampires or ghosts. The fun part is also keeping it secret, even within the PxTone community itself!
I really thought about making a vampire theme, but in the end, my heart was set on a ghost track. After throwing around some ideas, I came up with this a couple days before the deadline. Once the first set of chords were placed, I wanted to make a fast paced breakdown percussion-heavy section with a crazy improv bass. What ended up happening was that I ended up finding a groove I enjoyed a lot, so I decided to build upon that instead.
